April in Korea is not just spring. It is the moment when winter finally feels over and people start wanting to be outside again. In other words, April is one of the best times to fully experience spring in Korea.
One of the first things I would recommend is a cherry blossom walk. One of the most famous places in Seoul is the Yeouido Yunjung-ro area. According to the Korea Tourism Organization, the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival takes place along Yeouiseo-ro in Yeongdeungpo-gu, and the area is known for its cherry blossom-lined streets. It is especially worth visiting a few days after the expected bloom in Seoul, and if you want a more comfortable experience, it is better to go early in the morning or on a weekday.
